They wanted a Punjabi speaking pupil on work experience placement because 99% of their customers speak Punjabi. If the lad had been white, black or polka dot and fluent in Punjabi he would have been OK. It isn't racist to have certain requirements. It's like a secretary being required to know shorthand because they need to be able to make notes as they are dictated.
