I am fairly sure that the address was Railway Terrace in Brierfield and Mr George Ward was a policeman and Mrs Quita [?] Ward played the accordian in a dance band.
I am trying to fill some gaps in my family history and if their is anybody out there who could help me or direct me as to where I might find some information about this time I would be very grateful

Hope you have some success. I used to live on Railway Terrace in Brierfield but some 20 odd years later than you are talking about. Unfortunatley the grandparents I lived with have now passed away so I can't ask them, but will ask around some others I know in Brierfield.
