Hell yes it happens in Heavy Rock all the time.
I used to be in a band called the Filth Patrol (with a bass player called Dominic Brunt, who went on to star in Emmerdale as Paddy) and we supported the Dogs D'amour, who were in the charts at the time, at the Thomson Center.
They demanded £800 in cash, £200 worth of food, £200 worth of booze and a 6ft x 7ft mirror in their dresing room.
And they got it too!
