i think that violence and threat of violence isnt a new thing...what is new is that its not a threat anymore. People have carried knives etc for years..in the 80's the popular cool weapons were the bruce lee type stuff numchackers or whatever they were called lol (also now illegal)...but when weapons were carried often they were carried as a threat and only that..not that its ever right to threaten of course.
The thing is now that no-ones afraid to use em anymore and thats the frightening thing..kids are dying in school..teachers raped in classrooms..burglars murdering homeowners...is it ever gonna end? If so how? |
