Well you will have gathered from the name that there is footballing blood in my veins! I have supported The Clarets for as long as I can remember from the early 60s to present day. Although born&bred in the Rossendale Valley,Burnley is an important town to me and is where I spent most of my mispent youth in the 70s messing about in 'The Hop' and going to matches!
I have also formed by own chatclub&messageboard called 'Burnley Banter' .Its all things Burnley for people who are all things Burnley with topics related to the Town,including its people,culture and history with a healthy tribute to the 'Clarets' chucked in. I am now based in East Anglia having lived 20 odd years in Surrey so I feel a bit isolated. My mum still lives in Waterfoot though so I do get chance to come back up North now and again! :)
