Had this discussion recently on Accyweb Sweetpead, there were Paedophiles and 'bad men' when I was little .. seen many a Flasher down a back street ... just more media attention, that's all.
Also, a child is more likely to be involved in a Road Traffic Accident whilst being driven to school, than walking.
