I don't think it sounds harsh. As I said on another forum, it's beyond belief that they left them alone in the room whilst they went for a meal. They should have used the facilities available, that's what they are there for. In the cold light of day, they probably wish they had done things differently.
Even so, I don't think they deserve to be going through this, no matter what we think of what they should have done or not done, and it doesnt matter whether they are doctors, road sweepers, shop assistants, unemployed, they are still 2 parents who's child has been snatched from what they thought, a safe place.In my mind, they have done a blooming irresponsible thing by leaving 3 babies alone in an apartment, and the little girl is the one paying the price for it, and her parents will have to live with that forever.
