we used to have blue badges and yes people do abuse them ,,we found out a blue badge holder can park for unlimited time in able bodied parking areas but 3 hours in disabled bays ,,, bit daft realy, if i couldnt find a disabled bay i went home ,not enough in burnley to cater for all the authentic badge holders ,mind you i think traffic wardens are blind to badges,,,we got a ticket in a disabled bay and our badges were on full view and yes they were the correct way round lol, we no longer have the badges as boredom and lost medical records made going back to work a better option than waiting another 7 years for an operation ,, such is life
